ANDREW F. BOHUTINSKY
Andrew is a Managing Director and founder of Desco Capital.
Andrew has over 15 years of experience as a private equity investor, investment banker and corporate attorney. He has a wide range of experience buying and selling privately-held businesses, carving out divisions of larger corporations and recapitalizing companies in partnership with management. At Desco Capital, Andrew manages the operations of the firm, in addition to sourcing and executing transactions and managing investments.
Prior to founding Desco Capital, Andrew was a Managing Director/Partner at Lincoln International, a global middle market investment bank headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Andrew was the founder and Global Head of Lincoln International’s Building and Infrastructure Group. With Andrew at the helm, the Building and Infrastructure group became the most active such industry group in the middle market, completing over 55 transactions between 2004 and 2009. Prior to joining Lincoln International in 2002, Andrew was a Vice President at Green Manning & Bunch, a boutique investment banking firm focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity financings. Andrew started his career as a corporate attorney specializing in private equity transactions at Hopkins & Sutter and Altheimer & Gray, where he worked in the Chicago and Prague, Czech Republic offices.
Andrew earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1995, where he was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He graduated summa cum laude from Washington College with a B.A. in Economics in 1992.
